Visitors have left

Feeling a bit down my SA visitors have left. They are doing a trip around the UK for the next 3 weeks but will be coming back to stay with us for their last week in the UK. So looking forward to that. We worked together at the Christian mission in the now Zimbabwe.

Wonderful to catch up on old times though. And they will be back again soon. Big hug and a :) xx

Oh, Exy, they'll be back soon, and as you say, it is something to look forward to. I bet you've been reminiscing about your time out in Africa, and enjoying those conversations. Take care of yourself, and recharge your batteries in readiness for their next visit :)

I also met up with some old friends on Friday who were on holiday from South Africa I had not seen them for over 30 years we knew each other while our children were small. It was lovely and also sad because I know I won't see them again. Thank goodness for Facebook.

Where in South Africa pollyjj ?

My sister from the States used to visit + a lot of American relatives. Always so exciting, and flat after they went. But we did have the vists and went over there in return. I know the feeling, the car goes off and the house goes eerily silent. My daughter lived in Dubai for 15 years, and the pang of seeing them off at the airport.. But communications are so good. Good seeing you all love Annie xx

You now have a few weeks to rest before another week of entertaining. Put your feet up and relax :) Judy x
