We have just had a letter from my husband's consultant, saying that "in his recent lung function tests there is a 15% drop in his diffusing capacity, while his FVC has remained stable" I would be grateful for people's thoughts regarding this as not really sure what it means....

Hi there barneyboy

Your best bet would be to call the nurses on the BLF helpline. They are very knowlegable and friendly. The nUmber is 03000 030 555.

Sorry I cannot help either its all gobbledegoop to me, but good luck on your search I find ask.com very good.
