Hi Martin,

I take lorazepam daily, it really helps reduce my feelings of living with continuous shortness of breath and does not reduce the respiratory drive like diazepam does.

Hope it can help you too. x

Hi Martin, I was prescribed lorazepam by my consultant for panic attacks resulting from shortness of breath. Half a 1mg tab under the tongue at the onset, works magic, soon slows your breath down. After a while I virtually stopped having the panic attacks as I knew I could take the lorazepam, I kept some in every room I use. Can't fault them. Libby

good morning

yes that is what I do and I agree it helps by just having it, it works though, it is difficult to get it has to be a specialist who prescribes it as it is one of the drugs NHS are trying to reduce the use of as it is very addictive

Sorry so late in answering your query.

I have been away and only got around to the iPad now.

Just to let you know that my sister was on Ativan and had dreadful trouble coming off it. It is

very addictive. There was a TV programme on about it some years ago and most of the

people interviewed said they could not come off it.

Hope this helps.
