AND a jolly good morning.

Have my GP appointment this afternoon, have listed everything down with the help

of you guys.

I am not the loudest person on the planet and when feeling patronised, withdraw from talking,

BUT this time I have it all written down ready.

My lines are

"I will not be shoved out of the surgery until he bloomin' well hears everything I say".

Taking a deep breath and spit it out!

fingers crossed that he listens.

xx Ros xx

Oh and its raining, what a soggy start to the day. lol.

I am like you Ros I withdraw from talking, can you take someone with you for support. Imagine the GP sitting there with just his vest on I find this helps !! , after all he's as human as the rest of us. Best of luck.

I've tried this Libby. It had the wrong effect because he is very very hunky indeed. He recently did the marathon through the Sahara and can often be seen in shorts, with a great heavy pack on his back running through Wimbledon! Oh my, when I go in I forget everything on my mental list. That's when I can get an appointment - he's way too popular :D :D feel a bit better after a visit though P

Morning Ros xx. Start off by giving your GP a smack in the eye and tell him he gets another one every time he doesn't give you an answer.

Have a good day sweetheart and keep that fist at the ready.

Love from Bobby xxxx

Just think of how much they get paid to listen to you! if it wasn't for us they wouldn't have a job!

You are taking responsibility for your own health by visiting the doctors! good luck :) xxx

lol @ a smack in the eye, trust you Bobby.

My boxing gloves are reserved for my Scrabble games but

I do have a knuckle duster!

It was too late in the day to make it a double appointment

but there always is another day.

My main objective is to take my choking sessions seriously

and get me to a specialist. A specialist will give me more time

and will also know what I am talking about.

I need to get monitored at the same time with my UC while coming

off my two a day.

I can envisage (as always) my GP sitting their, looking over his glasses at me

and typing . . then offering me a prescription. Sending me on my

way. I am today going to go in determined.

YAY I went, I got, I conquered.

Have now to go monthly to see him. My ling function is 40%.

Have two more inhalers and a tube. Now lets see if my

Choking spasms go!

I even had one in the surgery.

lol

Have you recently given up smoking Ros? I used to have choking fits but they disappeared when I gave up. Good news on the lung function, look after yourself and you have many years ahead. PS: What is the tube?? George

The tube is called Flowisignal Whistle. Aero Chamber Plus.

You insert your inhaler into the chamber and it makes the inhaler

give twice at much into your system, rather than just to the back of

your throat . .

I can now give up smoking as I can now take medication for my

UC which was kept my UC at bay with smoking. This med now comes in granules,

many find the solid tablet form very difficult to swallow without gagging.

I can now stop smoking I find quitting easy. So no worries there.

Plus it was only two a day.

Now fingers crossed I do not have another flare up.

I am being monitored for both.

xx Ros xx

Thanks for that info Ros. I hadn't heard of the flowisignal whistle before but have an aerochamber which I find invaluable. Good luck with your progress. Best wishes, George
