Thank you for the heads up :)

Some lung folks find Humidity affects breathing badly. Some to the points of exacerbations.

Yep even in UK humidity - in my region its 97% at 4am.

Because I had just noticed it on met office site. I check these things twice daily, if humidity doesn't affect you, no need for you to worry.

Thats Just Great ... Thanks For Heads Up :)

High humidity is best for my COPD....that's why I use a Nebuliser. Failing that, I fill the bathroom with steam to ease problems.

Good Morning

Everybody needs to remember that everyone's lung condition is affected by a variety of different things - some people are troubled more by traffic pollution, some people are toubled more by pollen, humidity may be more of a problem for others etc etc etc.

So it's good to raise awareness of what can cause a change in symptoms - if this blog makes someone realise why they find they feel more tightness etc at 4 am in the morning and that it may be due to changes in humidity then all well and good.

There have been countless discussions on this community about other "issues" such as cold weather, hot weather, pollen etc etc - will it terrify people into going out? Probably not - it will just confirm what they alreday know - and people newly diagnosed will learn what they have come here to learn.

So that's my "positive" spin on this blog - thank you BlakeyC for posting it.

Thanks for positive spin on the blog Mark.

Made it through the night ok, just a bit wheezy this morning, humidity is dropping as the day progresses. Hope everyone else is/was ok.

Have a good day all, breathing easy.
