seven weeks on Serevent and feeling much better, I'm flying on Sunday to Spain for a week hope all goes well. Is flying more stress full taking these drugs ?

I'm hoping a week in the sun will be beneficial.

I honestly don`t think it will make any difference if you are taking Serevent and flying, other than you have a feeling of well being by using it. Im sure a week in the sun will be so beneficial, it won`t be too hot in Spain at this time of year just lovely and warm, just what the doctor ordered! Can I come too?

What part of Spain I lived in Menorca lovely country Bliss x

Before I was diagnosed hypothyroid and put on meds for that I found that every time I flew I would end up with bronchitis for a couple of months. Since being on the right dose for my thyroid, that problem has gone away.

Regarding flying while on asthma meds, I think it's better when on rather than off. The air filters in planes aren't as good as they used to be since smoking was banned and they didn't have to filter smoke any more.

Flying to Spain is really quick and once you're there there will hopefully be some lovely sunshine so I think you will be fine.

Have a great time

You should be fine - I have moderate to severe COPD and have flown 3 times in the last 8 months and am off again to Mallorca in a few weeks. I am glad you feel better on your medication. I always find that a break in the sun with good food and wine...makes me feel really good on my return.Enjoy your holiday I am sure you deserve one. Adrian
