urethral constriction
Had chemo and then
cystectomy
10 years ago. Last few years, kidney stones then UTIs, until lithotripsy for the stones. But have urethral constriction, so every 4 month I have stents put through my stoma. Has anyone heard of, or had the procedure done for the constriction using Optilume?

It will be four weeks on Monday since my radical
cystectomy
. I was back home after five days! unfortunately back in hospital 4 days later as an emergency. Back home a week later and all is well. I have fully accepted and adapted to my new life and am working slowly at my recovery.

BC Update with GP.
With regards to the
Cystectomy
(Bladder removal) she said that now would only be an option if it spread into my bladder muscle. She is even sending me for a back X ray even though I have had a bad back for a long while, to eliminate that being a BC Symptom. She think's it worsening spondylitis.

Going in for a radical Cystectomy, stopping Biologic.
So on Monday I'll be undergoing a Radical
Cystectomy
. I'm OK and positive with the outlook of living without a bladder and lots of other bits .

Update on Nuclear Scan and where I am at now.
The Operation I don't want is Radical
Cystectomy
- The alternative is "treatment plans involving chemotherapy and radiation therapy after TURBT- A TURBT is a cystoscopy but they take away anything that is there. That is containment not a cure but I would be happy with that.

Looking for a Surgeon with Specific Skills
Iāve had multiple rounds of BCG, and Iām now heading towards a radical
cystectomy
. My urologist is nervous about the risk of damage to the rectum, because the prostate is āstickyā after the brachytherapy.

post-op incisions
Hi everyone, I had surgery (ovarian
cystectomy
& excision of endometriosis) on 18/02/24 One of my wounds seems to be open. I feel āfobbed offā by doctors who state it will close on its own. Did anyone elseās incisions look like this? Did they heal okay?

Had my lap today.
My bilateral
cystectomy
went really well. I had three rods put in and my ovarian cysts were pulled out through my belly button (lol ewww). Had endometrial ablation and mirena. Turns out I was absolutely riddled with endo but strangely my bowel lesions were minor.

Almost forgot I have PC
In late January I had open
Cystectomy
and was in the hospital for 10 days. My MO put my PC on hold while dealing with this new challenge. I am now getting Immunotherapy (Opdivo) every 4 weeks for a whole year.

Prominent pathologist at Johns Hopkins on leave, facing bullying claims, WaPo, by Steve Thompson & Katie Shepherd, 10/22/23
Looks to be another case of professional success breeding professional arrogance and familial preference. Seems to be a lot of that going around these days - in all sectors of society. BTW, as a patient, my fav reader comment to the article is: "tell someone that they make a nice anecdote". * * *

Hi! I'm new and excited to meet others and learn about your journey
Good afternoon. I'm new to the group. I already posted an item, but thought I should introduce myself. I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer in 2010. Had a mastectomy. Went on tamoxifen for 2 years, then quit because it made me feel miserable. No chemo. In 2022, I was once again diagnosed

Running bra
So, this is a bit niche but does anyone have any advice/sources for post mastectomy bras for running. A bit of background... My surgery was over 10 years ago I have tried various sports bras since but the only ones I have had and been happy with are cheap decathlon ones which clip at the back to a racer

My current struggle, anxiety
This isnāt strictly related to PP but in my lifelong saga with depression, anxiety, PD, and PP, I do still live with anxiety. Itās been bad lately. Iām also a 13 year breast cancer survivor and after mastectomy in 2010 I made the mistake of getting reconstruction with a breast implant. I wonāt go
