Discomfort in left breast/chest area

Following on from my post before where I had a bit of a funny turn, for the past 3 weeks I have had a dull throbbing pain in my left breast left chest area which over the past three days has gone under my armpit as well. I have tried Gaviscon and painkillers which has made no difference. The pain was all day and all night but it has changed to just the morning/ afternoon and by the evening I’m absolutely fine. Then I go to bed and I don’t sleep very well anyway and I wake up and if we go again. I just have no quality of life at the moment. I went to see a new GP yesterday as I have moved and I literally came out of there in tears. He felt my tummy ??? He just prescribed 1 months omeprazole and sent me on my way. Oh, and he told me to go home and check my breast! I do not want to see him again but obviously I’ve just joined the surgery and don’t want to cause any upset. I do know I am hyper aware about pain in my chest but I am not imagining this dull throbbing pain at all!

Good morning and thankyou for your post..It must be really upsetting for you to come out of your doctors no further forward, I know at can be frustrating, I have the same problems with my local doctors...I have also been having this same problem as you for a while, throbbing pain in the area of the left nipple near the left arm pit..I would make a call to 111 or your local doctors again, make sure you get to see someone else..Please try not to worry too much about this pain. Easy said and done, I know from the same experience..Let's us know how you get on..Take care..
