I haven't tried magnesium. I wasn't sure if I was deficient so asked my doc for a blood screening for ectopics, they seemed happy to do it. Everything came back normal, so no supplements recommended. But it was helpful to see the results, my potassium was towards the lower range of normal and I find having more bananas/avocados etc helps so I've been focussing on getting more in my diet. So, might be worth asking for bloods first. I'm not quite sure how magnesium supplements work if you're not deficient/if there are risks but hopefully someone else may know here.
I have suffered with ectopics for over 30 years and they were taking control of my life , my doctor offered no support so paid privately and was put on bisoptopol which did help but then I found out about a Dr Sanjay Gupta (cardiologist at York ) and started watching his videos on youtube , what a game changer ! I would really recommend you watch them if you have access to youtube . He explains everything about different heart issues in an easy to understand no medical jargon way . He talks about the benefit of magnesium for ectopics and I started to take it everyday and it has been life changing . I still get them but nowhere near the strength or as often as they were . Definately check his videos out 👍
