Hi

I am seeing cardiologist this week - follow up fro echo scan in March. Moderate stenosis has apparently progressed a bit more. Issue is for about 6 months feeling constantly tired sometimes wheezy, so struggling a bit. Does anyone have any experience of a moderate stenosis causing the symptoms

It sounds like it's progressed from moderate if you are feeling so unwell. Glad that you are seeing a Cardiologist this week. Write down all the changes to your health and the impact on your daily life. If I didn't write things down everything went out of my head because I'm so anxious in hospitals.I'm not sure whereabouts in the country you are but in Leeds they have specialist valve nurses and I was given the mobile number for one of them. She was an absolute angel and it was her that I rang if I had any concerns etc or if my symptoms worsened She acted as my go between to the surgeon and Cardiologist.

Ask if they have a team at your hospital.

Good luck-

Joanne

Sounds as if it has progressed Extreme Exhaustion is par for the course .I complained about at a GP app while I was on the waiting list for op and he said What do you expect you have nowhere near enough oxegen going round your body and you shouldn't be trying to do much of anything Glad you are sering cardio this week
