Stents / Arrhythmia

I had two stents put in back in November. Ever since I have had mild chest pain and numbness in the arms intermittently while exercising but was told this was perfectly normal.

Recently the symptoms became far more pronounced and , erring on the side of caution , I presented at emergency where I was diagnosed with an arrhythmia. I've now been put on two more drugs to deal with it and am due back for another examination in three months.

Has anybody else had a similar experience and could they share , and does anybody know if an arrhythmia can correct itself eventually negating the need for medication. (One of the drugs I've been given really has some serious side-effects attributed to it , and I'm certainly not keen on taking it long term.)

Thanks in advance.
