Hi All had my 6 week check all seems to be good. Not told a lot apart from left ventricle been paced 1% and right 2 %. My HBM now set at 50 was 40. Been given a monitor to set up but as going to Portugal for 10 days have decided to do this when I return Got my insurance sorted.

Bit apprehensive as flying for the first time since pacemaker.

Take care all you kind people

Brilliant, so pleased all was good at your appt and that you're able to go on your holiday. The monitor is really easy to set up when you're able to do it.

I don't doubt you're apprehensive about flying try to remember that your device is looking after you, your pacing amount is really low & you wouldn't have got insurance if you were considered a risk.

Have a fabulous holiday, I love Portugal.

You’ll be fine. We’re off to Spain Tuesday and we both have pacemakers. Always get a good going over for drugs at Spanish airports as neither of us will go in the scanner!
