Will be glad to see the back of this year for so many reasons

Hi all well I doubt very much I will be awake at midnight so I just want to wish you are very happy New Year please stay safe tonight. My cardiologist also phoned me today and we had a really good about everything. I have after much though decided not to put in a formal complaint about what happened. We all know it shouldn’t have happened and the cardiologist who was actually looking after me that day has been so upset about it. This year has been so rough for the nhs and I’v had 5 hospital administrations since the start of the pandemic and yes okay my last one was rather horrendous and a very frightening experience the others Iv have have been seconded to non. When I spoke to my cardiologist today he will have now phoned Newcastle and started the ball rolling with moving all my care over to them. I’m not gonna lie it is quite sad knowing that I won’t be seen at the Lgi anymore as that place has been my second home for most of my life. It is now however time to start a new chapter and journey in my life and that’s at Newcastle.

As you said it’s a new chapter in your life and on the road to getting a new heart, it is very sad when you leave somewhere you have been looked after for most of your life, but it’s time and you are looking forward now.
