So pleased to read your post, great to hear that your recovery is going so well. I am 4 years down this mended heart road, and grateful every day to the medical team that gave me my life back.
Keep at, I am 20 months post stent after a minor HA and I know so many have had worse experiance and longer recoveries but know how you feel at wanting life back, all of a sudden every day becomes a day to live and enjoy, I run now twice a week, cycle (when its not to cold) and am pleased for it all, so I understand, go hit them balls and smile every day!!!
I had Aortic valve replaced and bypass done at the age of 68, never had anything wrong with me before, so to be told my body was being drowned from the inside my heart just couldn’t pump hard enough to remove the fluid, I was in hospital for 7 weeks before my surgery so they could drain the fluid off in weight I lost 69lbs! Drastic way to lose weight 😂 so every day is a bonus, and my gratitude is endless. Can’t say I run😉 but I do power walk, and do all I can to keep my mended heart as healthy as I can. As I kept being told in cardio rehab use it or lose it.
Hope your golf and running and cycling keeps going, enjoy every day.
Great to read your post, i am just 3 months post double bypass but had quite a rough time with complications and now at 3 weeks post 2nd op to have stents put in the graft that failed. I feel life is now getting better at last and can start my cardiac rehab properly so i can return to work and normal life. Christmas was different but lovely, my biggest gift was getting my heart fixed again and seeing some light at the end of the tunnel thanks to support of people on this site.
Keep hitting those balls!!!

My wife has suggested every day is Christmas Day since i had my procedure and got discharged from hospital. We enjoyed our Xmas and are glad to hear you are enjoying your Xmas as well. I'm a way off riding a bike again, but it is something i have as an aspiration to indicate i am fully recovered... But look forward to reading about your hole in one
