New operation date

So had a call last week to say I would be going in 26th to be operated on 27th. Today I've had a call to say I am going in on Monday and being operated on on Tuesday which is my 45th birthday. What a gift 🎁

These things never happen on a 'right' day. I ended up having mine on my parents' diamond wedding anniversary - always remember the pin drop when I told them the date had come through and when it was.

I felt hugely guilty as they ended up spending the day with their vicar praying for me, even though I'm totally not religious anyway.

But hopefully it'll be an amazing (if delayed gratification) birthday present.

Such a pain all the delays.....makes me realise how lucky I was with my date. Anyway, as misery loves company, I was in hospital too last year on my 50th! Thought I would put it back to this year and have a party but........so, next year it is then lol. Good luck.
