You need to talk to your GP

Things should have settled by now. It maybe that another angiogram is needed to see what's going on..

Hi there. I just wrote a detailed reply to your posting and it just disappeared from my screen and I cant trace it, but the upshot of it was that I too was in your exact situation after having 3 stents last year. Eventually I was seen by a different Cardiologist, different hospital as I moved). Had a cardiac MRI perfusion scan and was told my stents were working beautifully, but I was diagnosed with having an entirely different heart condition called Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, the symptoms of which are exactly the same as for angina. Now I'm not saying in any way that you might have this, but would suggest that you make an appointment to see your consultant and have a discussion because feeling the same as prior to having had the stent put in, is not normal. I was left for months not knowing what was wrong with me, but I knew that I wasn't "right".

Good luck

My angina was less pronounced but more frequent after my stenting. We’re all different but in my case it was the drug regime that needed changing. You certainly should be talking to your cardiologist.

I too had problems after stents but my cardiologist changed my medication and it settled down. Good luck.

I had 2 Stents 1-LAD and one in branch in start Aug 2020.

I am still not my old self .

I experience terrible side effects of blood pressure med and statins plus blood thinners. Dizziness, tiredness, fatigue Gastrointestinal pain, gas / bloating. Above all I do experience chest tightness and pain on even less exertion.

However, in my view body needs time to adjust to blood flow changes, medicines and shock of procedure.

It take atleast 3 months for DES stents to settle and merge with body ( body to accept foreign body).

3-4 time I was evacuated to emergency bcz of chest pain and anxiety.

Things are getting better slowly and gradually. Plz don't worry give time to your body take it easy and try to relax it's anxiety which plays major role both as side effect of medicines and as outcome of procedure results.

Wish you luck
