Action on Sugar analysed hundreds of drinks. The worse turn out to be the vegan ones as the alternative milks contain more sugars. Here is a quote from the article:
The "venti" (a pint) Starbucks Signature Caramel Hot Chocolate made with oat milk but topped with whipped cream had the most. It contains 23 teaspoons (93.7g) of sugar and 758 calories, which Action on Sugar says is as much as three cans of Coca-Cola or four white chocolate and strawberry muffins.
It's a good thing I drink Americanos without sugar! 😀

Aside from the number of calories, my first question is who wants to drink a 20 fluid oz coffee? and secondly being as I'm on a diuretic, if I did for some reason to go in and have a 20fl oz coffee, I'd probably be stuck there for the day!
We have what you could loosely call a milk bar near us. Whilst milk can be a healthy drink for children these people do not serve milk shakes as such. The milk seems to be blended with confectionery, such as Oreos or Mars Bars, and topped with cream and marshmallows! These must be 1,000 calorie hits. It's nearly abuse buying these for your children!
I watched that too. Thank goodness I don’t drink them. I would be climbing walls hahah
Thank you for this. I printed it off and have laminated (!) it and it’s in reception at the dental practice where I work. A “ what’s your favourite drink” topic of conversation!
