New medication and trip to A&E

Result of recent tilt test, collapsed after 9 minutes. Diagnosed Profound Posterial Hypertension and prescribed Midodrine.

Unfortunately except when fainting (walk for 20 minutes to induce) my BP is normal.

Woke up this morning with BP 166/94 with heart rate 126.

Subsequently taking off all meds, admitted onto cardiac unit and having ILR fitted to monitor heart and syncope episodes, with a view of being referred into neurology and black out clinic, drug free to obtain definitive diagnosis.

"Hoo piggin rah" taken 5 months and lots of shouting to get here. Praying for a positive outcome so I can get my life back on track.

So very pleased for you. 🙌I hope they get to the bottom of it then you can take some time out and rest.

Thank you, after much fighting I feel I am being heard, just a shame it's taken so long.

I wish you the best. Bodies that don't work properly are awful and yours seems rather bad.

Thank you, taken a long time to get there. It's so frustrating when one fix doesn't suit everyone, but hoping I'm on the right track for a fix
