Hello all not a question but a statement that might be useful. 3 years ago I had a dissection of the ascending aorta and a damaged aortic valve. I was put on Amlodipine 5mlg, Bisoprolol 1.5mlg + a couple of others for collesterol and blood thinning. After a year my go changed Amlodipine for Ramapril. For the 3 years I had complained about, breathlessness and going dizzy I was told to walk slower and not get up so fast. In April my Bisoprolol was increased to 2.5 mlg. The dizzy spells got worse nearly falling over sometimes. I then went for usual blood tests and blood pressure my pressure was down to 109 and heart rate very low a week later my go rang and told me to stop the bisoprolol since then 3 weeks no dizzy spells and I'm walking at normal speed now. So for 3 years plus they could have stopped my discomfort.
