Hi I had stents fitted 5 weeks ago back at work but some days yes feel better than others more tired some time but does get better the more I do , I get various aches and pains sometimes in the shoulder but tend to think it's more down to using my body more after the shock of what happened didn't think it would take so much out of me and not really allowed to do much for 2 weeks after

Many thanks,Kswiss for your reply. It is reassuring to know that my condition could be normal. Some of my friends who had stents inserted remarked that “they felt like new persons within a few weeks” Looking forward to an upturn .

Yeah I've had a good day today managed a full days work (I'm a builder ) and got gym tomorrow with rehab team from hospital but do think alot of it if I don't feel right is in my head , think that will take longer to get use to that you are no longer invincible

I had a stent in November and had severe pain particularly in the right shoulder mainly at night but sometimes during day. Took paracetamol got anxious and then it stopped. It will take time to get back to the best you were before the event, might need some tweaks on your meds but you will get there. Take it easy do cardio rehab and do your bestest to avoid anxiety. Good luck.

Many thanks for your reply. It is reasurring to know that other folk have had similar experiences. I am probably feeling a little anxious as I have never had any cardiac problems before and at 79 years of age I felt life was slipping away. Much appreciated and best wishes from Northern Ireland.
