Benign early Repolarization???

Hello everyone looking for thoughts on the topic stated. I am a 30 year old male and About 6 weeks ago I went to my local hospital with chest discomfort, (3 episodes in the 6 week leading up) and an ecg was carried out which came back as abnormal, I had my bloods tested which also came back as normal, and also a 24 hour ecg which again came back as normal, referred to cardiology (4th November is my appointment date)

I decided to go and see my gp as I was a bit concerned for some help regarding this, he decided that the original ecg must of been wrong and to test me again, after the test they immediately phoned for an ambulance as it was showing ‘acute mi’. On arrival from the paramedics they done another ecg and referred it as just an ‘early uptake’. In a&e they carried out more ecg and blood tests and the ecg kept coming back as abnormal but bloods ok. I then am discharged and told if you have any chest pain to come straight back to a&e and just to await my cardiology appt in November. As November is quite some time off I decided to google ‘early uptake’ which show results and symptoms similar to me, early Repolarization, has any one been diagnosed with this and if so could you inform me of any meds, lifestyle changes etc regarding this.

Dave

Hello and welcome to the forum! Unfortunately these days there are, in my opinion, unacceptable delays in cardiolgy. However, if they had seen anything unusual your feet would not have touched the ground - a friend had an unusual stress ECG, was not allowed home, transferred to Papworth and had surgery five days after the test.

I think it is worth you ringing the BHF nurses for a chat as they will have experience of this condition.
