Losartan and cough

My meds were changed from Candesartan to Losartan a couple of months ago after 3 years because of BP issues/low sodium. Since then I seem to have a constant throat rattle and wheeze and have to cough to clear it.

Has anyone else had this on Losartan?

I was changed from Ramipril to Losartan because of a cough.

Aha, the plot thickens! My husband is on Ramipril and has a dreadful cough.

Yes!I had it for 3 bloody years before my Dr.believed me!..said it was chest infection...I eventually did Google research and printed it off and sent to him...it DOES CAUSE COUGH!...turned out I was allergic to it...cough stopped immediately I came off the awful drug
