Morning.

Just a bit of reassurance if possible

Has angiogram last week (tue)

Swelling going down

But there is a lump about 3 inches by 1 inch wide top of thigh.

Tender.

Still off work as when standing for more than a few minutes I have pain.

The massive purple Bruise is starting to go.

Is this normal?

Is there a normal or different for each person?

Hi I would get it checked out by your GP or practice nurse. Could be a haematoma , like a bruise inside. Best to get it looked at I think.

Bruising is normal because of the meds that you are taking. Give it a little bit of time and if it doesn’t reduce see your gp. If you had a HA before the Angio and stent you should take it easy and go to cardio rehab before returning to work. It all depends upon your personal circumstances.

So hospital told me to come in back to ward. Very very helpful. Nurse and dr had a look and said the angioseal might not be stopping all blood??

So they have arranged for a vascular ultrasound this afternoon...if not just a little more resting lol

Went back to work Monday...but oh no.😮

Couldn't sit. Couldn't stand lol!!! As a teacher it was...😶

So back on the daytime TV 😂😂😂😂

Glad you did that Urssy. Best to be on the safe side. Am sure everything will be alright. If not, I'm sure they will sort it. Good Luck x

Hi Urssy.

Glad you're getting it checked out.

I was advised post angiogram that if I had any issues, depending on my level of concern to contact GP > Walk In Centre > A&E as appropriate, so you've definitely done the right thing.

Now as to TV.....if only love island was shown during the daytime :)

So...I have a bleed.

After a lot of discussion with vascular surgeons etc. We have opted for a complete bed rest and scan again Friday.. more bed rest scan Monday. More of a conservative path. Otherwise surgery.

Had bloods done. Clotting looks good...so resting now. Xxxxx
