Hi
I had an angioplasty about 7 weeks ago and it went well with two stents put in heart area. Been on medication since then and feeling better in every way. However noticed that my right ankle is beginning to swell up.... is this due around meds?

I have the same problem it’s my medication says cardiac nurse
You could discuss it with your doctor and/or call the BHF Heart Helpline on 0300 330 3311 (office hours) and talk to a cardiac nurse about it.
I am not aware that your meds would cause this especially in just the one ankle. I think you should have it checked by your GP. Until you get an appointment elevating your leg for 30 minutes may reduce the swelling.
Go to your doctor.
