Hi All

It’s been a while since I posted it’s been six months since my unexpected heart attack and truly trying to get back to normality

I attended a Cardiac support group today over a warm cup of hot chocolate.

It was great to share experiences and strengthen each other

It is based in West London and Central

Scad survivor

I to had a scad in July I'm 51 fit and healthy it was such a shock they are treating me with medication as they said they couldn't put stent in am waiting to see scad specialist in Leicester in February but it has been such a hard thing to come to terms with as I'm so scared. It's going to happen again as I still get a fair bit of pain

Hi there thanks for your message it is very scary especially when your fit and healthy with no history my story too. I was told they needed to put a second stent in but I took medication for a number of months and I didn’t need another stent as it worked. I would speak to your cardiologist about whether you can see them any sooner and also have a scan to see if the problem has healed??? I hope it all works out for you best Wishes Marie

Hi I did yes so its worth asking your cardiologist for this as they can see all the vessels in the heart. Thanks

I will thank you as I'm seeing a specialist in SCAD's I'm hoping that's what they are planning on doing
