Thank you for everyone who replied to my previous questions sorry I have not got back to you but I have been in hospital again.i have now been put on c a r m i l tablets as well. Doe any one have any experience of these please

It's just a trade name for the anti-anginal isosorbide mononitrate. I was on it for about a year pre-bypass. If it works for you it is better than GTN spray when angina occurs as this can cause woozy head and headache. Sometimes better to split dose am and pm but ask GP first.

I had a bypass as four arteries were between 70% and 85% blocked. Woke up with neither angina nor breathlessness!

If I recall correctly you had stents. These sometimes take a short while to settle. If you still have angina you may need further stents. Depending on the arteries affected and the extent of any blockages they may consider a bypass going forward.

As long as it is low in saturated fats and sugars and served with plenty of fruit and vegetables!

Ha ha good one I was eating all that before fat lot of good it did me ha ha...and I mean good fat not bad fat!!!!!
