Hi. I had my AVR and mitral valve repair over 3 months ago now. Is it normal to have a resting heart rate in the 80 - 90's? I've heard that it will lower as I become fitter over time. I am not overweight and I am in the 5th week of the Coach to 5K programme so I would have thought my high pulse would have resolved by now. What is everyone else's experience?
