Meds and sudden low iron readings in bloods

Hi, haven't been on here since March after angiogram which gave good news, but caused a bleed as the Artery in forearm was torn during the procedure. Since then still taking bisoprolol 2.5 x 1, apixaban 2.5 x 2 and flecainide 50 mg x 2. So far all good. About 1 month ago started to feel tightness in my neck (like I had with af) and very breathless after mild exertion, and my legs ache to extreme. Went to Dr who ordered full bloods. Turns out my ferritin level is 9, it's always been near 40, even in January after last blood test it was fine. So suddenly my iron levels are very low. Dr immediately fast tracks me for colonoscopy, but I'm not convinced that's where the problem is as I had one 18 months ago, all clear, also no symptoms at all. I'm thinking it's one of the meds. Has anyone else had similar. Thanks

Heart conditions can cause low iron issues. I don’t understand y, I just kno it does 4 me a few freinds wiv a heart condition.

as an indication that this is not a usual side effect.
