I finally had my ablation for SVT at Papworth Hospital and I’m feeling really good afterwards bruised a little but wow looks like it’s working for me fingers crossed don’t want to speak to soon. It’s like waking up literally from the worst cold you have ever had to find that you’re feeling back on your feet again.
Early days I know but I just hope it stays away.

Great to hear you're feeling well. I have SVT, so it's good to hear how things have gone with your ablation. At the moment I have decided to go with taking a beta blocker for a while. I have quite a few other conditions and for now taking a tablet seems easier for me. It has helped alot, I still get little episodes but not the Big long ones!
The main reason I had my ablation was because I couldn’t find a beta blocker that really suited me the one I was taking made my muscles ache.
Don’t underestimate SVT I to have other issues but a lot was coming from having SVT. Ablation is really worth doing to be free again I’ve had it done now after 9 months wait but can’t put into words just how different I feel I still have to heal a bit more but when I’m healed properly wow a new calmness is how I feel.
Good luck with beta blockers if they work for you that’s brilliant news but don’t be afraid to have your ablation ❌
