Hi. First post so spoils if in wrong area. After seeing Dr on Monday, after feeling dizzy etc on Sunday, being referred to A&E after ECG, had pacemaker installed yesterday. All a bit of a shock as unaware of issues!

Definitely in the right place. I have to say that was a very rapid turn around but it beats hanging about and having too long to think about things. Don’t be too surprised if you get a bit emotional now - it is quite normal, but we are here to try and help. So, I hope your recovery goes really well but if you have any questions of a more general nature (rather than specific medical questions), please don’t hesitate to post on here.

Hi Alwyn247 and welcome :) The BHF has some more information on pacemakers plus some information booklets on living with a pacemaker which might be a useful read:

Hope this helps!
