Travel Medical Insurance

I had my heart attack almost 5 months ago (just 1 stent put in).

Going on my first holiday abroad and I would like to get medical insurance.

Any recommendations?

Not that I need it, I have looked at the top of this page both right & left. I can't see anything about related post, therefore travel insurance?✈

there should be boxes to the left, one 'Related posts' under that 'Pinned posts' both should show Travel Insurance

Co-op Have just launched a new travel policy that will cover you - tip: join their membership scheme first. Hold your breath though mine wasn’t cheap!

I have managed to get a few quotes. Because I am waiting to see my cardiologist to review the results of my heart echo scan, a couple of the insurers (including Saga) refused to insure me. Seems a bit mad because the echo scan a few months after heart attack is quite normal as I understand it.

Anyway, the post office quote is just under £200.

I then went on the ALLCLEAR web site and have very low quotes, starting at just £42!!!

This seems too low to be true. Any thoughts?

My cover is for a single (1 week holiday) trip to UAE from 7th Feb.

Called and went with Saga in the end (£79).
