Hi I’m shirlz from York but born northern lol.

I’ve had psoriasis all my life since a nipper about 50 years ago and had every treatment going from sun beds to weeks in hospital wrapped up like a mummy.and it’s being passed down on my dads side.im also on methotrexate plus few others and I also have arthritis which is something no one else got in family so I must be special lol

I am 53, female and was born on, what you'd possibly refer to as, 'the dark side' of the Pennines

I have mild PsA (flared at 20, dx at 34) and have had scalp psoriasis (since I was 10/11, DX at 34).

I now have hair loss and see a dermatologist soon.

I’m a year younger than you.i am original from Sunderland lol now York. Only time I lost my hair was from picking my psoriasis I’m clear at moment but I’m on methotrexate which clears them.Its one of first time I’ve been this clear in long time.is yours through your family or are you special lol

I think I am a bit special too!

My parents are fit and healthy. I wonder, sometimes, whether my mum was given the wrong baby at hospital!

Thete have been and are other auto immunity issues, in my grandparents and children.

I no it can skip few generations so it could being before your parents.none of my lads have it or granddaughters touch wood head lol so we just special with fairy dust that’s what I’d call my psoriasis in my head fairy dust for special ppl lol
