Donating Plasma while on Humira???

Hi all! I am wanting to donate blood and plasma. I just started taking Humira injections last Thursday for Psoriatic Arthritis. Does anyone know if I'm able to donate? Thanks for reading!

You would be best to contact the blood bank in your area as they differ between regions apparently. Not sure on the biologic issue, but it would be best to check with them.

I was told I wouldn't be able to donate due to biologic medication 😕 but good idea to ask your local blood donation service to get their view.

It says to give them a ring to check but it it looks somewhat promising.

I'd love to donate blood especially as I once had a life-saving blood transfusion myself but ironically that's why I can't, because it was at the time when blood wasn't checked for CJD. I'm now wondering whether I might just be able to donate platelets.
