In the same boat here .... but i am trying something new ... something slow and steady ... and let keep uplifting each other .. i mean thats why we are here ..

so my few cents would be..

It shouldnt be about how you look but how healthy you are .... all that matters is health and wellness... dont do it to cut down sizes or shed pounds ... do it because you want to live longer and healthy ...

i am starting very small ... i couldnt run 200 m without panting like a dog.. thats my new target .. once im getting to that i'll go for 400 .... lets see how it goes :)

I struggle with self body image too. I agree. Slow and steady. Trying to focus more about how I feel with good food, helps me. Sometimes I try to refrain from buying clothes or I take my time in finding the right pants, shirt or outfit. Clothing can trigger my self hatred, but sometimes it’s not the body but how the clothes fit. It can be the wrong cut or style. taking your time to purchase the right article of clothing can make a difference in self esteem. A hard one would be trying to stop comparing to others. Unfortunately, media, magazines and ads don’t help. Everyone is unique and they might be also battling with body image as well. They might be comparing themselves to you. Try to set up small goals. Water intake, exercising ( even if it’s for 10 mins), eating more veggies. Instead of emotions of negativity, try to encourage positivity by congratulating yourself with the progress you have made so far. If you get off track, its okay. You are aware of the derailment and are making changes to get back on. Look at yourself as being strong and how better you feel because you are taking care of yourself with moving more and feeding yourself better food.
