Greetings all! My doctor told me that I need to lose weight and exercise...I can eat better, but I have MS and exercising is difficult sometimes. Any suggestions of what I could do?

I don't have MS, but I have AS; Ankylosing Spondylitis, Fibro, OS; Oestioarthritis. Anyway I started using a "Gazelle" walking exerciser {cost $150} in 2004. I have built up the strength in my whole body. I'm no longer dependent on my walker, and only use my cane on really bad days. I'm not able to use the gazelle everyday, or for longer than 15-20 minutes at a time. It's easy on your joints, when legs don't have strength, use the arms and it moves your legs. I have lost over 160 pounds. I still have 65 to go to get back to my "Pre-Disability" weight. Sometimes I'm down for days, and even weeks at a time. I've learned what works for me and what doesn't, Except when I go down. Start with 3 minutes, and go longer as you get stronger.

Tony Little makes the Gazelle in 2 types and a lot of other healthy living products. You can go to his website or a host of online stores to review and buy his products. If you have questions for me, just ask. I'll pray you get stronger.
