Are you feeling anxious about Omicron?

I must admit I am feeling uneasy right now, we've all been through so much haven't we? I know we are probably all vaccinated and up to date but there's always concern.

What are you thinking about this subject?

not really but if it was proved to evade the vaccines then I would.

still to many people passing away with the delta variant and if omicron was evading the vaccine many more people would sadly die.

But they are saying that's because that weren't jabbed, I just hope people will have the sense to protect themselves and others.Take care Kenny <3

I rarely read the papers or watch the news these days, too depressing. I worry about going back into lockdown & of course I worry about my loved ones. I’ve got two members of my family that won’t get vaccinated & I worry for them. I’m all vaccinated up but I never worry for myself. What will be will be.

What makes you worry Chloe?

Hi Caza I can’t seem to get away from the news, and while I am vaccinated, the thought that another strain seems to be rampant, does worry me.

The thought of lockdown again and the worry of shopping and how to be safe, does scare me x

No, not at all. It seems to be super mild and once "had" would basically give you good immunity for pretty much all strains as it's a mutation.

Hi Jo, I would love to believe your right Jo, I am really trying to put it out of my head as much as possible anyway <3

How are you GoGo_JoJo ?

Don't take my word for it, listen to the doctor that found it! She says it's extremely mild and is completely bemused why we're making such a fuss 🤣

I'm ok thanks, working hard as usual, still running, have taken up sea swimming too and I intend to keep it up all winter. Nothing makes you feel alive like cold sea swimming 🤣😘

Cold sea swimming?Do you wear an outfit that stops the water getting in?

I tried to go in the sea but my feet were freezing.

Love and hugs 🤗

No, I started in a normal cossie, then bought one with long sleeves... however for convenience I've started just wearing a bikini... 🤣

We do wear neoprene gloves and socks to keep the extremities a bit warmer. The water gets in but more slowly and it warms a bit.

Oh and we wear bobble hats!!

Hi Chloe,

Yes this variant is getting to me a bit, mainly because we don't know a lot about it and it has more mutations than the other variants.

Some people aren't worried about it, but a lot of people weren't worried at the start of the pandemic either.

Back in early 2020, I was one if those people who ignored the news, and thought they were making a mountain out of a molehill with regard to the virus.

It wasn't until lockdown was announced in March that I realised how serious it was. So it's hard not to worry now whenever there's more information.

In the UK, they said we'd have Christmas last year but they effectively cancelled it at the last minute. So the trust, that there won't be another lockdown, that we can have Christmas this year, just isn't there.

I don't really experience it as worry anymore, because it's been so long.

It's more just a heavy sinking feeling. I'm tired...

Xx

I absolutely agree with everything you have said.

I’m from the UK too, so .....

Thank you 🙏

I'm not worried. I have maintained precautions through out and will continue to do the same. I don't go to restaurants and I shop early in the am to avoid crowds.

Stay safe everyone
