Anxiety was and is the crippling part of bereavement . I wonder has it changed over the years from depression to anxiety as life is just SO fast and we are expected to “carry on”?
Hi Will2015abc
Thank you for your reply.
Anxiety is definitely crippling without a doubt and I understand what you mean but they are separate problems although I agree with you about life today, it is very fast, too fast.

I totally agree Will2015abc we don't have a chance to get to grips with our personal grief let alone deal with some of todays, well I was going to say inventions, can't think of an appropriate word, because that's what it feel like, everything is a massive deal when we're coping with loss, our everyday life take enough time to get used to and by the time we have, so much has passed us by. x

yeah i did still on medication 18 years later been tough recently.
Dear Chloe40,
I can't really vote on this as my grief has changed into depression as well. I have been prescribed medication but not taken it as I feel it only masks what I need to let go. All I know is that I find it all very crippling at every angle and some days, I can't see a future. It is affecting me physically as well. I am having counselling. Perhaps on the choices above, you could add, Receiving counselling and treatment ongoing.
Thank you JOLLYDOLLY
I'm sorry to read this, if not taking the medication is your choice, then one thing I would add is if you are getting worse at any point, then please review it with your Dr.
Take care now and always x
