hi the only test that came positive was that HLA-B51 but other than that i dont have any symptoms of bechets. The only other symptoms i have is blurry vision. My rheumotologist receommed i see Dr. Yazici in New york who can help in confirming my diseases. All other blood tests came out negative.

Have you been able to get an appt? I'm seeing one of his partner physicians, Brian Golden, next week because my Rheumatologist and I were told Dr Yazici is no longer accepting new patients.

I just returned from seeing Dr. Golden this week. As my TB[latent] tests came out positive last week, I was asked to start Imuran, and TB medication which usually lasts 9 months. After or during which, we will switch over to Humira [as suggested by the Retina Specialist]. My Rheumatologist was suggesting starting with Imuran from the beginning rather than CellCept, but was awaiting confirmation from NYU before we did the same. So far, I only one symptom of the Behcets, which is the Retinal Vasculitis....so Dr.Golden asked to continue on the path my Rheumatologist[Dr. Uzma Syeda] had recommended.
