Has anyone taken azathioprine and enbrel together??

Dezie - Is this for Raynaud's you are taking these medicine's or Behcets? I would ask my Chemist if I were you. I've never been put on either of those and I have Raynauds and was diagnosed with Behcets.

I have Behcets. I haven't started taking both yet, just on azathioprine at the moment. I saw Doctor Yuzuf Yazici in New York, a Behcets professor, and this is what he recommended. He got in contact with my doctor here and now I just have to wait to see if they will fund me the enbrel.

I have been on both but at different times. The azathoprine worked quite well for me on its own but it affected my stomach so was taken off it. I am now taking Enbrel injections and it started off good and I have been able to reduce my prednisolone dosage, which is great for me but now the benefits are getting less. It is still one of the best things I have tried and I will continue until it stops working.

I have been on Enbrel injections for nine months, plus Methotrexiate, & Placquenil. (I have rheumatoid arthritis as well). The Enbrel has worked extremely well for me.
