Been having a seriously bad day with my headache!! Been on the sofa all day, and my new stronger painkillers aren't touching it. Been in tears a couple of times. Went to bed tonight and became very light headed( the room started spinning) and breathless. Help?

Could be the stronger painkillers as they can make you feel very woozy and breathless. If the painkillers are new, it may take a little while for you to get used to them.
Sometimes when I am panicking or very stressed I over breathe and hyperventilate and this causes me to be dizzy, light headed. If I take something that relaxes me I tend to fight it and it makes matters worse, until I give in and have to try and relax.
I know it's easier said than done but try and relax a bit. I usually cuddle up in bed with a hot water bottle and watch some soppy film on TV [the more weepy the better as it gets it out of my system]. Or I have a lovely bath in Epsom salts and Lavender oil. I am sure other people here will have other ways of relaxing.
Hope you manage to get back to sleep and have a good night and waking up a bit more refreshed.
Hi Andrea! the problem is.. I don't think I was panicking. I was actually asleep when I noticed!!!:0 im going to see my doctor, so I'll ask him about the meds and have a little chat with him x thank you for such a speedy reply x god bless and I hope you are well( or as well as you can be!
