Has anyone every had a mesentery twist?
I have one and I'm scheduled for a Pre op in 2 days. And surgery is scheduled for next month. Very evasive surgery. Pelvic to sternum incision. This will be my 8th bowel surgery. Second exploratory. I'm extremely scarred. I have terrible lung problems. I'm wondering if this surgery is absolutely necessary? Also does anyone know of anything being used to treat scar tissue during and after surgery that might minimize this problem as well? Thank you for your time. Happy Holidays!
