Lumps and bumps on the penis can be caused by a wide variety of conditions. It would be helpful if you could post a picture/s of the lesion for us to see.

Hi Luffy,

It could either be a small pimple (boil) or molluscum contagiosum, a viral STD. A boil would be sore and inflamed; a molluscum is usually painless but can be itchy. It has a characteristic dimple in the centre. If you can see one molluscum, they may be others so search the shaft of the penis as well as the base of the penis and pubic areas.

Unlikely to be herpes. Is the surface rough or smooth? Rough surface would suggest a wart. Best to get checked in a sexual health clinic.

From the pic , it is very rounded, smooth , and possibly has a dimple in the centre. This appears similar to molluscum as Adhari stated , but you need a sexual health clinic assessment. If so, it is easily treated.

unlikely given the appearance but the pic is too distant and blurred, it needs a real life assessment.

I have a single bump also. I don't think it hurts. Ha ha. I can't tell because I can't stop thinking about it. It's smooth. I think it might be a sebaceous cyst? Anyone have any idea about treatment? I could go to the dermatologist for this but would like to avoid if possible. Thanks
