Hi. For the last week or so I havent been eating properly at all. It will come to meal times and I'll hardly eat anything. I don't get it because I can eat crap and not meals. I'm starting to get worried about it as I need to eat to take my medication. Someone please help or advise me.

Im in omerpzole and this new medication called cimdtidine 400mg. Both twice a day
both to reduce stomach acid - its a bit unusual to be taking both , may I ask what for
I've been having this problem with burping they've ruled out mainly everything. They have the impression that I may have reflux. Before th new tablet I was on ranitdine.
Not sure why you are on two similar acting tablets though . Are you in the UK ?
They've put on them both twice a day because my symptoms are quite severe. Yes I'm in the UK.

No just them two medications. Before it was omerzole and randitine.
Have you been screened for helicobacter ?
No.
that seems a bit strange to me as helicobacter pylori can cause a lot of stomach issues. nhs.uk/conditions/indigestion/
OK. All they have treated me for is ceoliac disease and some other stuff
If you have unexplained burping, it is certainly worth checking for helicobacter. You will need to be off the omeprazole for a while though to do this test.
