Can I start the pill whenever I want even if taking the pills for 21 days and it goes over my period due date?

I've been given the pills if I start taking them now the 21 day pills go past my period due date. Can I still take them. Or is it best to wait till my next period.

I think the instructions might tell you to take them on day one of your next period? Check what the leaflets say and use other contraception in the meantime

Follow the instructions in the pack. Otherwise you might find you have breakthrough bleeding.
