Pelvic pain.

Soo.. during and after sex I have a hurrendous pain in my pelvis sometimes I can be having sex and have to jump away quickly because the pain can be quick and intense, it hurts for a few DAYS afterwards sometimes to the point i struggle to walk and sit down... I’ve been tested multiple times for sti and I’ve never had any bad news, I’ve had a camera internal and external scan and a full examination and tested for many infections and doctors say there is nothing to worry about but this pain affects me 24/7 and I need answers and treatment

The exact same thing happened to me. I had pelvic inflammatory disease for years I couldn’t have sex it hurt way to much I stopped eating due to the pain I had to quit my job, Iv had upper gastroscopy Iv had pelvic examinations tests etc but no1 could tell me what it was. I was going round in circles getting diagnosed with everything else but pid, in the end I lied and said I had severe pain on my appendix side (pain was always on the lower left side) I got sent to hospital with a letter saying I had suspected appendicitis.. this time I wasn’t at the hospital no longer than an hour and they told me I needed to go to the GUM clinic so next day I went there and told them my problems they checked my pelvis with a microscope and found puss which they ruled out as pid they gave me some really strong antibiotics for 2weeks, I got worse before I got better but that pain has gone now, I had it for 3 years. After giving birth to my daughter via emergency c-sec, I can no longer conceive children at the age of 25, now I have bladder incontinense and the doctors won’t help me they just say it’s my body going back to normal, honestly be persistent with your gp they have to listen eventually go to your local gum clinic and tell them what problems your having they will really investigate it rather than your local gp hope you feel better soon, also I found that period pain killers worked a treat for the pain when it got too much as normal paracetamol don’t touch the sides x

I have had pelvic pain for years. My gp has only actually listened to me and acted upon it.......she prescribed me antibiotics (amoxicillin) which slightly eased the pain for a few days, but the pain has returned. My lower back is affected aswell. I also get pain during and after sex, my stomach is very bloated too. I have been to my local GUM clinic and everythin came back as normal. It is mainly my right hand side too. I get really bad period cramps in my stomach and lower back, so bad that the 1st couple of days of my period I can hardly move, and I lose alot of blood aswell. Any advice welcome as my gp isn't much help atall

I'd just like to take the time to thank you all for your help and support. I will take on board each and every one of your advice etc. I apologise for not replying to you all seperatly! I'm having some work done on my house and it's like a building site just now. It's really quite stressful!
