Cerelle and Cerazette

I’ve been on cerelle for 3 months but went to doctors for check up and then found that I’ve now been given cerazette. After research it seems they are same thing but some people have had side effects from swapping? If they are the same thing surely there should be no change? Are they the same thing?

They are the same hormone drug but it's the make up of the pill itself that's different.

Side effects again are different on both but depends on what your body feels. I've been on both pills.

On cerezette I didn't really have any side effect other than bleeding non stop. But cerelle I got a lot more side effect- gained a lot of weight. Depression and anxiety and also bleeding non stop. I wasn't on this pill for very long because of this. But this may be different for other women.

They may have changed you due to so many different things. I went through all of the pills just because I wasn't happy with them all.

Ahh thank you! I get a lot of migraines so maybe that’s why - I don’t bleed at all on cerelle so I’m hoping that’s the case with cerazette! Xxx
