Herpes outbreak take 2 :(

Hello all,

Last year I found out I had Type 1 Herpes (cold sores) which I couldn't believe & it was the worst pain of my life. I found out by getting it down below so I'm really confused as to how I've got Type 1 if I'm getting it down below mainly?

Reason I'm asking is because I've just had an outbreak but caught it early so I'm hoping it won't be as painful!

Any help or advice would be grateful! Thank you!
