Mirena coil help😢

Hi everyone, I need so advice. I have put could in over a week ago. From that day I have a lots cramps and pain in. Today I check my coil strings and they go!!!!. What should I do go A&E or wait to see gp in the morning. Is worry me as I still getting cramps

Do not panic, go to the clinic that put it in today. If you have not felt your threads before it may be that you can't find them. Take some pain killers and seek help.

Go to your GP. Or the family planning clinic. Strings can take a while to find but they feel like wirey thread. They can sometimes coil up round the cervix but they leave them a bit longer imitiay so you can find them.

Take painkillers, paracetamol, ibuprofen if you can. Hot water bottle.

Get emergency appt at GP.
