14 & weird unusual period this month. Help.

I am 14 years old and as of the month of January I've only been off my period for 17 days, I got my normal period on the 5th and bled normally then had normal brown discharge then I was off. But I think on the 20th I got my period again and I only bled for 3/4 days and the discharge has not went away, it was brown, but today it looked so thin as if I peed myself but with a red tent to it. Thanks to anyone with advice.

Periods for us all varey, my first question would be are you sexually active (do NOT take this as an 'offensive question some are by 14 but don't let anyone pressure you!')

If so have you been for a check up? Done tests?

If not have you been to the doctors possibly a UTI?

Before I had my children I was having periods weekly! 3 out of 7 days every week I was on! They 'estimate' that some of us have periods monthly although it's highly uncommon! I am now lucky after my children if I get one once every 4 months!

If your worried I would contact your GP and ask as you are 14 you are entitled to do so?

It's probably nothing and I would note down each period and the length etc and monitor it? Possibly look into a 'contreception' (you DONT have to be sexually active to access these services) where it might help your frequency of periods?

Thank you, I am not and still aren't sexually active, I went to my Gynocologist and everything is fine, and in my next period I will be going to have my nexplanon implant put in.
