Chlamydia and gonorrhoea test for bad period pain?

Hi, I went to the clinic to get my birth control pill. And I explained about how I've always had bad pain when I'm on my period so they got me to do a swab test for gonorrhoea and chlamydia. I've got no symptoms of either are these actually know to cause bad period pains.. I told the nurse I've always had this amount of pain but she insisted I do this test
